The best specialization for a SnS warrior is Champion, as its AOE abilites go nicely against all the enemies who are grouped up on your tank, plus it buffs allies as well. With its upgrade, Shield Mastery, Shield Wall gives you a defense bonus as well, making Shield Defense completely redundant, once you max out this tree. Early on, you'll only have access to Shield Defense, which increases the chance to dodge attacks and arrows - so keep this on, until you can upgrade it to Shield Wall, which increases your armor instead, plus grants you resistance to knockwodn effects.

The high survivability comes from the Weapon and Shield tree's sustained abilites (and some passives too). Threaten and Taunt will be the threat management abilites - keep Threaten on, and activate Taunt whenever enemies are starting to break off from engaging you and are going after your teammates. To that end, you are going to need a bunch of abilites from the Warrior talent tree. You best put points in STR:DEX:CON in a 2:1:1 ratio.Īs for abilites: like I said, your main goal is to stay alive and aggro as much enemies as humanly possible. And lastly, there is CON, which is just a flat health increase, if all else fails. The second most important will be DEX, as it lets you dodge some attacks, so you won't lose too much health and can go conservative on potions. Let's start with skill points: your main focus will be STR, as it lets you equip the heaviest armors fairly quickly. If you are playing this, your role in the group will be the tank, so your objective is to keep the enemies focused on yourself and be able to dodge/soak up large amounts of damage.
