A small decrease in power might have been fair with a small change in cast such as 6, 4 and 2 might have been totally ok, but what they ended up doing was just retarded. You can still make it like its base before if you get 3 of them to +10 and level up all stats needed to 99. Stop crying you noobs, its was insanely OP. I mean we made it into a 10 swing Sword with 25% less damage from before. "We made the Mastodon Greatsword to only be able to hit its target 10 times before it break, but we improved its damage by 25%.

That they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the damage boost to nerf the damage instead is just a slap in the face because with the damage boost the 10, 8 and 3 uses are balanced. Now its like a Soul Arrow with 5 uses and twice requirement, also all lightning spears can miss the broadside of a barn if there is just a wind so weak you can't even feel it on your face when shooting from point blank range. Problem is that they didn't balance it but pretty much nerfed it into the ground without actually powering up Lightning spear to be more damaging as it became a 3 cast spell. When it gets to Great lightning spear I can agree you got a little to much damage for the amount of uses and Lightning Spear might have had a few to many uses but it was fairly weak as well. Sunlight Spear was a real burst weapon, high damage few uses. Lightning spear was a good spell as it was pretty weak but the casts made up for it, Great Lightning Spear was for bigger enemies that needed more damage but you tried to avoid using it until the boss. The only good about them was that they was a kind of burst weapon, you can't go though a whole area using only spells as you didn't have enough of them.
